DEARBORN —A 22 year-old Dearborn Heights man, Hiesham Al-Shawwa,  was found shot to death in his 2007 GMC Yukon in east Detroit on Friday, Dec. 7, according to family members. Naher Asleh, a cousin of Al-Shawwa, said he was found on Beaconsfield Street near East Warren Avenue with a shotgun wound to the chest, and that the shotgun was in the vehicle. He said the family was told by police and the medical examiner that Al-Shawwa died on Tuesday, December 4, before being found days later, and that the death was ruled a suicide. Asleh does not believe it was suicide. “He was a happy man,” Asleh said.  “There’s no way. He was a party man… He had his own car, his own apartment…” Asleh said Al-Shawwa was a truck driver for Red Cap Transport in Dearborn.
