BIRMINGHAM – On Monday, November 19, Mr. Bilal Kabalan, the Consul General of Lebanon to Detroit, hosted an event to commemorate the Sixty-Ninth Anniversary of the Independence of Lebanon at the Community House here. 

Kabalan stressed the importance of staying united in support of the Lebanese homeland during his speech to the crowd. 

The event was well attended by Lebanese Americans from all walks of life including various political and religious affiliations.
