Hameed Dakroub (Center)

Master Hameed Dakroub has won the Michigan Tae Kwon Do State Championships in Lansing on March 23, 2013.

He has previously won the Ohio Regional Championship in 2011, and the USA Jr. Olympic Tae Kwon Do Championships, in 2002. He also took fourth place at the World Class National Championships, in 2010. 

Hameed is a member of Koubeissi Tae Kwon Do School in Dearborn. He is the son of Haj Jamal Dakroub, Chairman of the Islamic Center of America and the Grandson of Haj Hamid Dakroub, ex-Lebanese Senator. Hameed is currently attending the University of Detroit Mercy – School of Law.  He made the Dean’s list this past fall and is currently serving on the Law Review Committee.  He has also been selected to serve as a Title Editor for Law Review next year.
