The Family of the Yousef brothers grieving at the scene of the crime.

PALMETTO- Two brothers were killed in their convenience store in Palmetto Florida on Monday, September 6 by a lone gunman.

23-year old Khasen and 17-year old Faares Yousef, were killed execution style at “Snappy’s Convenience Store” by a man who has now been identified by police.

Police say the surveillance camera inside the store led them to seeking the killer and his getaway car.

Detectives say the motive appears to be robbery, despite some cries that it could’ve possibly  been a hate crime. The brothers were Arab American and Muslim.

Following the incident, a customer entered the store and discovered the bodies, where authorities were then contacted.  

According to Local affiliate WWSB, family  and friends rushed to the store screaming in panic and anger. One had to be restrained after running across the yellow police crime tape.
