“My success has to be credited and shared with the community and it is possible because of the support from the community,” Sayed said. “I’m just very thankful for my community and Wayne County for being so supportive of my endeavors.”
Hype Athletics held a banquet on March 31, 2010 that drew 500 people in support of the wide-reaching metro Detroit organization, which has recently expanded to also include a wide variety of social services including tutoring, mentoring, and counseling for kids.
“I’m very, very thankful to be nominated and selected by such an accredited magazine and I want to thank the people of Crain’s including the staff and administration there,” Sayed said.
“I’m thankful to their commitment to serve individuals by identifying successful businesses in the region and marketing them.”
Crain’s will host a celebration of the 2010 class of 20 in their 20s on May 6 at Bookies Bar & Grille in Detroit. Tickets are $35 in advance, $45 at the door.
