DETROIT — Lavere Bryant, the defendant convicted in the double homicide of Dearborn  Family Dollar employees on July 15, 2013, was sentenced on Thursday, Dec. 11,  to Life in prison without parole.

He was convicted on two counts of first degree murder and kidnapping.

He is expected to serve 37 to 60 years on one count of armed robbery, 14 to 30 years on one count of unlawful Imprisonment, 4 to 10 years one count of felon in possession of a firearm.
