PAHRUMP — Spray paint graffiti on a business in Nevada is being investigated as a hate crime.

“These statements insinuated a bias based on the business owners religion, and is being investigated as a hate crime.”
The hate graffiti include slurs and threats such as “sand n**ger,” “camel Jockey,” “I will kill you,” and “towel head.” The threats and the hate graffiti are being investigated by the Nye County Sheriff’s Office
Meanwhile, the Council on American-Islamic Relations called on state and federal law enforcement authorities in Nevada to investigate the alleged threats.
CAIR said the business owner had reported repeated threats targeting his family and business in the past month and a half.
“We urge local authorities to investigate the apparent bias motive for the alleged threats and hate vandalism,” said CAIR National Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper.
