DEARBORN — Henry Ford College (HFC) plans on assisting 40,000 students who were dislocated after a national technical college shut down all five of its campuses in Michigan.
HFC will provide opportunities to help students of ITT Technical Institute finish their educations and move on with their career goals.
After the incident, many of the ITT students contacted HFC, expressing interest in the various degree and certification programs.
HFC’s academic programs cooperate with the varying needs of students, community and business partners. The college continues to improve relations with industries and organizations that offer students new careers and educational opportunities.
The college offers more than 120 associate degree and certification programs, a new bachelor’s degree program in culinary arts, a tuition-freeze guarantee, a university center and exceptional transfer resources.
