DEARBORN HEIGHTS — Two men were charged in the killing of a Dearborn Heights man last week on Wednesday at 20th District Court, according to local reports.
Amaar Kadhim-Shudayer Al-Saady of Detroit, age 34, has been charged along with Antonnie O’Neil Ray, 19 of Detroit; both face felony murder and other charges in the incident.
The victim, Mohsin Jaber-Hassoun al-Uglah, was allegedly shot in the neck after a struggle that ensued after the two men entered his home at about 8:40 p.m. on September 14. The house is located on Brooklawn near Warren and Evergreen in Dearborn Heights.
Al-Uglah, his wife, and brother, who was visiting from overseas, were all robbed at gunpoint during the incident while children were also in the house.
Detroit and Dearborn Heights police collaborated on finding the suspects. They are being held without bond and scheduled to appear in court Wednesday for preliminary examinations.
